The GERLIB CLINIC was established in November 1985 by Dr. Domo Nimene and Margret Gieraths-Nimene. The GERLIB CLINIC is located in Paynesville, Somalia Drive. It's duly registered with the Liberia Medical and Dental Council under the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MOHSW).

The aim of this institution was and is to offer curative and preventive services to the Liberian people. The buildings of the GERLIB CLINIC were rented for 25 years, but since 2010 the GERLIB CLINIC acquired its own buildings.

For the past 30 years, Dr. Domo Nimene and Margret Gieraths-Nimene have rendered medical care to low cost and free of charge to the Liberian people. Continuation of those activities in spite of the current challenges are going on; grateful to the donors and well wishers without whom it would be impossible to continue these activities.

The GERLIB CLINIC is open 24 hours rendering professional and qualified medical service to the public. The GERLIB CLINIC has up to date diagnostic facilities such as: Ultrasound, Rectoscope, EKG (Electrocardiogram) and an X-Ray, Blood Chemistry analysis available to enable her to offer the best care for the patients.

Health Talk (Nutrition, Stressing breastfeeding, Hygienics, Avoiding diseases etc.)
These services are offered free of charge to the patients.

Nurse Assistance Program
The Nurse Assistance Program is a three year Intervention with 10 female students for each year. This program is initiated by the Rotary Club of Oberhausen, Germany and Innerwheel Broich, Germany, and provides the financial means to pay the teacher, material and a monthly pocket change of US$ 90,00 for each student.

EBOLA Epidemic
During the Ebola Viral Disease Epidemic in 2014 the GERLIB CLINIC was affected as well and lost key of her staff, this led the management to intervene and through financial assistance from the German Non governmental NGO action medeor and the Else Kröner Fresenius Foundation the GERLIB CLINIC was able to set up Ebola Treatment Unit (ETU) and treated patients; currently we are taking care of 68 survivors and orphans from Ebola.

The GERLIB CLINIC also supported awareness programs through her preventive service to surrounding communities around Paynesville and provided hygienic materials to combat EVD.
